In June 2025, in the Pushkin City Garden in Chelyabinsk, an incident occurred on the «Ptichki MZ» trampoline, resulting in a girl being injured. The attraction was operating legally, and visitors purchased tickets for it.
As reported by the prosecutor«s office, »The girl suffered a closed femoral fracture, was hospitalized, and underwent leg surgery.«
The supervisory authority filed a lawsuit against the individual entrepreneur who owned the trampoline for compensation of moral damages. The parties reached a settlement agreement, under which the entrepreneur will pay the victim«s family 450,000 rubles (approximately $5,000 at current rates). This information was received on February 3.
Injuries on outdoor trampolines in the region are recorded regularly:
- In 2024, near the «Tractor» arena, a child fell from an unsecured trampoline and suffered a bruise.
- In 2018, in Katav-Ivanovsk (Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia), strong wind blew away a trampoline, four children were injured, and a three-year-old girl with a hip fracture was taken to intensive care.
