Overnight on July 20, Moscow abruptly changed the route of tram No. 17. The reason was a car that got stuck on the tracks.
The Department of Transport issued a notice at 10:55 PM. According to the department, an inattentive driver drove onto the tracks near the «Tikhomirov Street» stop on Polyarnaya Street.
As a result, trams No. 17 are delayed, and the route has been temporarily changed.
«Please be careful and follow drivers» announcements,« the Department of Transport recommended.
Earlier, Moscow significantly changed the tram schedule. On weekends, trams will not run to Belorussky Station, Rizhskaya Metro, or Novoslobodskaya Metro.
The new schedule is due to track repairs in Minaevsky Lane, on Seleznevskaya Street, and near Novoslobodskaya Metro. We have compiled in a single article all transport changes.
Also, from July 19 through the end of the month, the schedule of some suburban trains on the Kiev direction of the Moscow Railway (MZhD) will change. As the MZhD press service explained, switch points will be replaced at Bekasovo-1 station.
