«Trains aren»t arriving at the railway station, only delays are announced. My train was supposed to depart at 9:30 p.m., it left at 10:10 p.m. And it«s the same for all trains, some are delayed even more. Boarding has been cut to 15 minutes,» the man said.

Recall that more than twenty cars of a freight train derailed in Kirov Oblast, according to Gorky Railway.

«On February 1, 2026, at 3:50 p.m., a derailment occurred on the Orichi–Shalegovo section of the Gorky Railway. According to preliminary information, 21 cars of a freight train,» it says in a Telegram channel message.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Recovery trains were sent to the accident site. Due to the emergency, dozens of trains began to fall behind schedule.

A day later, on February 2, all derailed cars of the freight train were lifted. Also, power supply was restored on the section, and traffic was launched on one of the tracks. This was reported by the government of Kirov Oblast.

«Trains have been launched in reverse motion on one of the tracks. Passenger trains will be given priority here. Work to restore traffic on the second track continues,» the message says.
