Three killed in tourist bus crash from China in Primorye

Three people were killed in a traffic accident involving a tourist bus on the Razdolnoye-Khasan highway near the village of Filippovka in Khasansky District on January 22. According to the Primorye prosecutor«s office, among them were the bus driver and a passenger.

It is reported that the bus was carrying tourists from China and collided with a truck at the 56th kilometer of the road. According to updated information, there were 14 people on board. Five more were injured and handed over to medical personnel. Specialists from the Ussuriysk Central City Hospital have been put on high alert to provide medical assistance, and doctors at Vladivostok Clinical Hospital No. 2 are ready to receive the injured.

Six ambulance teams from Khasansky and Nadezhdinsky districts were sent to the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being established. The prosecutor«s office has taken control of the investigation and will assess compliance with road safety and passenger transportation requirements. The supervisory authority will also check the tourism company for compliance with licensing requirements.
