Teenagers Trash Stairwell in Yekaterinburg Apartment Building
In Yekaterinburg, teenagers caused havoc in the entrance hall of a multi-story building on Bakinskikh Komissarov Street. This was reported to E1.RU by an employee of the homeowners association (HOA).
«On the 12th, 13th, and 14th floors, lighting fixtures were smashed. Also, between these floors, the stair railings were wrecked in such a way that they became extremely hazardous,» the man said.
Now, after the visit of the uninvited guests, repairs will have to be made in the entrance hall. HOA employees are currently estimating the preliminary damage and cost of work.
«Well, the damage is more or less clear: three lighting fixtures at 700 rubles (about $8 each) plus the work — the railings will have to be cut off,» the employee explained.
Residents of the building have reported the incident to the police. The E1.RU editorial office has contacted the press service of the department for comment on the situation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is currently clarifying information about the incident.
