Two episodes have been recorded in the city where minor residents carried out arson attacks at the direction of criminals. This was reported by investigative authorities.
The criminals acted remotely, using messengers. They deceived the teenagers by posing as law enforcement system workers.
The first perpetrator was a 17-year-old girl. Following the received instructions, she doused a service car with flammable liquid and set it on fire. The incident occurred on the territory adjacent to the non-departmental security department of the Krasnoselsky district. The teenager was detained, and the issue of selecting a preventive measure for her is currently being decided. She has been charged with committing a terrorist act.
The second case involves a minor boy. Fraudsters, threatening him and his parents with criminal prosecution, forced him to set fire to a car belonging to a police officer.
Since the child has not reached the age of criminal responsibility, investigators questioned his parents and conducted searches at their place of residence. In addition, it is planned to send relevant materials to the commission on juvenile affairs.
Based on this incident, a criminal case has been initiated on signs of a crime related to aiding terrorist activities.
