In Yekaterinburg, on Bakinskykh Komissarov Street, unknown teenagers completely wrecked the entrance of a multi-story residential building, as confirmed by an employee of the local homeowners« association (HOA).

The vandals descended the stairwells, destroying everything in their path, resulting in smashed lighting fixtures on the 12th, 13th, and 14th floors and severely damaged metal railings. «They were wrecked in such a way that they became extremely hazardous,» noted an HOA representative.

Restoration work is now necessary, with HOA staff assessing the preliminary damage and repair costs. The damage includes three lamps costing about 700 rubles (approximately $8 at current rates) each, plus the cost of dismantling the hazardous railing elements.

Residents have filed a police report, and the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) is currently investigating the incident.

This is not the first such case in the Sverdlovsk region; teenagers previously came to police attention after vandalizing a private cottage. Similar incidents involving minors hosting noisy parties that lead to destruction occur periodically in both private homes and apartment buildings.
