Teenager with knife and explosions attacks lyceum in Tatarstan

A teenager armed with a knife attacked Multidisciplinary Lyceum No. 37 in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan. As a result, a female employee was wounded.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region reported:
«The police received a report that a student at one of the lyceums inflicted stab wounds on an employee. Police and other emergency services immediately arrived at the scene. The perpetrator was detained by Rosgvardia (National Guard) officers and was identified as a 13-year-old student of this educational institution.»

According to preliminary information, the minor brought a cold weapon into the building. He wounded a woman, then ran through the floors and set off firecrackers. It was later revealed that the victim worked as a cleaner. As reported by the mayor of the city, Radmir Belyaev, she received the necessary medical assistance. Her life is not currently in danger.
All students were urgently evacuated from the building. None of them were injured. The attacker was detained. Police and other operational services are working on the scene. All circumstances and motives of the incident are being investigated. A knife, mask, and tactical gloves were seized from the teenager.
According to eyewitnesses among the students, the incident occurred during lessons.
«We were sitting in algebra class, and there were two explosions in the hallway,»one of the schoolchildren described the beginning of the events.
Many did not initially understand the cause of the loud sounds, but soon panic began in the building: students ran out of classrooms and tried to take cover, writes 112. Later, another sharp sound was heard, after which screams came from the corridor.
