Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of a minor«s injury on the railway in the Leningrad Region. The incident occurred over the past weekend.
On February 3, the press service of the transport police of the Northwestern Federal District (SZFО) reported that information was received at the duty station about a person being injured by a commuter train near the station Razyezd Generala Omelchenko in the Luzhsky District. The victim was a 13-year-old teenager.
As established, at the Tolmachevo station, the boy grabbed onto the inter-car space of a commuter train traveling from St. Petersburg to Luga-1. He planned to ride this way to Luga, but during the movement, he lost his grip and fell onto the rails.
The teenager was hospitalized. An administrative protocol was drawn up against his legal representative under the article on failure to fulfill duties in the upbringing of a minor. An investigation into the incident is underway.
