On 28 January at 16:27 local time, a traffic accident involving a taxi occurred at the interchange of Vitеbsky Avenue and the ShMSD (St. Petersburg Ring Road) between Zastavskaya and Parkovaya streets in the Moskovsky District of St. Petersburg, leading to a narrowing of the roadway.
The dashcam footage captures the moment of impact and the vehicle flipping onto its roof.
Dashcam footage shows the car, moving along Vitеbsky Avenue, suddenly began veering to the right.
The vehicle reached the edge of the road, drove its right wheels onto a snowy mound by the lawn, and continued moving until it struck a roadside barrier.
The collision caused the taxi to spin, flip onto its roof, and be thrown almost into the middle of the roadway.
Immediately after the accident, several eyewitnesses stopped to help the driver. According to one of them, Alexander, the taxi driver survived.
«We helped him crawl out of the car. No visible injuries or blood,» Alexander reported.
