SUV fatally hits pedestrian in Leningrad Oblast

A fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 25 in the Kirovsky District of Leningrad Oblast. According to the Traffic Police of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, the victim was a pedestrian, whose identity is currently being established.
Preliminary data indicates that around 18:30, a SsangYong car driven by a 58-year-old man was traveling from the settlement of Pavlovo towards Kirov. Suddenly, the car veered into the oncoming lane and then ended up on the sidewalk. The exact reasons for this maneuver have not yet been established.
