Students Evacuated from Gymnasium in Yekaterinburg After Pipe Burst

Gymnasium No. 99 is recognized as the leading school in the Ordzhonikidzevsky District of Yekaterinburg.
A utility accident occurred at Gymnasium No. 99 on Bauman Street, where a pipe burst. The alarm went off, and all students were sent home.
‘The fire alarm went off. The children went home in wet jackets,’ a reader told E1.RU.
The Yekaterinburg city hall confirmed the incident to E1.RU, and the circumstances are being investigated.
Updated: The city hall press service reported that the consequences of the emergency were resolved by around 5 p.m. Educational activities have now been restored.
