Stray dogs attack child in central Voronezh, investigation launched

In Voronezh, the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) is conducting a check after a dog attack on a child. The agency reported this.

The report about the attack appeared on the Telegram channel «My and Your Voronezh». A local resident said that it happened near building No. 32 on 25 Oktyabrya Street. According to her, the child was not injured.

Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the incident. As part of the procedural check, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of officials of the organization responsible for catching stray animals. Based on the results of the check, a procedural decision will be made.

Voronezh1.ru is following the situation with aggressive dogs in the gardening non-profit partnership (SNT) «Shinnik-1». A local resident has repeatedly complained about stray dogs to the police and the veterinary department, but no measures to catch the dogs were taken.
