Stavropol child injured after picking up explosive 'toy'

In Stavropol, a disturbing incident involving a child occurred in the evening. A boy picked up an object on the street that resembled a plastic toy grenade and brought it home. In the apartment, a pyrotechnic device exploded.

The child was urgently examined by medics. Doctors decided on hospitalization — the boy was taken to the ophthalmology department of the regional children«s hospital. He is now under the supervision of specialists and receiving all necessary medical care. His condition is stable.

Fortunately, serious consequences for life and health were avoided.
