St. Petersburg searches for missing 9-year-old Pavel

According to investigative authorities, search operations on February 1 are focused in the Krasnoselsky District. The child was last seen near the Lenta hypermarket on Tallinn Highway, where a headquarters was set up the day before, on January 31. More than two hundred volunteers joined the combing of the area.
The press service of the city«s Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (GSU SKR) confirmed: »We continue the search.« However, by the morning of February 1, active measures on the instruction of the search team Liza Alert were switched to information mode.
According to police, the boy left from Krasnoselsky Highway, house 38, building A, around 14:00 on January 30 to go sledding. The next day, January 31, the Investigative Committee of the Krasnoselsky District initiated a criminal case on charges of attempted murder.

Identifying features of Pavel Tifitulin:
- Date of birth: January 22, 2017.
- Appearance: slim, height about 122–124 cm (4 ft – 4 ft 1 in).
- Clothing: long black jacket with red inserts, dark blue pants with camouflage inserts on the knees, black hat, beige scarf.
- Carrying: black backpack.
