Shakhriyar Mirzoyev, a doctor for the Krasnoyarsk volleyball club Yenisey, saved a boy during a flight from Kazan to Krasnoyarsk.

As NGS24.RU was told by the sports club, the team was returning from a performance in Kazan. The doctor was sitting in the tail section of the plane and noticed people fussing near the toilet for a long time. It turned out that a nine-year-old boy had a severe nosebleed that couldn«t be stopped. As the boy»s father later said, it was all due to a recent operation.

The Krasnoyarsk coach provided emergency assistance using the first aid kit on board the plane. The child is doing well.

This is not the only story where Krasnoyarsk sports medics save people during flights. In February 2025, we reported on another doctor from the men«s volleyball team Yenisey— Vadim Burdin. He revived a passenger flying from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk. During the flight, the woman suddenly felt ill and the flight attendant requested a doctor over the intercom.
