Sochi Vodokanal suspends services during drone attacks

Press service of MUP Sochi “Vodokanal” (Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Water Utility”) notifies that “to ensure citizen safety” during the drone danger mode in Sochi, the enterprise’s service centers temporarily cease work.

— When a threat is announced, the enterprise’s employees must act in accordance with established regulations and first proceed to a safe place. All visitors also present at the time of the threat announcement at the Vodokanal office are notified by our specialists and are offered to proceed to a shelter,” the MUP press service reported.

Visitors are advised not to stay outside waiting for centers to reopen, but to proceed to shelters.

— The algorithm of actions applied under dangerous conditions is standard and is practiced by employees of MUP Sochi “Vodokanal” every time an alarm is announced in the resort city of Sochi. We ask customers visiting the enterprise’s service centers to take the current situation into account and, in the event of a sudden alarm, be prepared for necessary actions. We also ask all our visitors to correctly interpret the requirements and not to think that you are being ‘put out on the street,’” the statement said.
