The Sochi Police Department is investigating a conflict that occurred on February 1 on Gastello Street between a taxi driver and a local woman. The cause of the dispute was a parking space.

According to the woman, she drove up to her house and wanted to park, but her spot was taken. First, she honked, but there was no reaction from the driver. Then she approached the car and politely asked him to move forward about one meter. In response, as the complainant claims, the driver rudely refused, explaining that he was waiting for a client.
Not wanting to escalate the situation, the woman decided to wait. However, after 3–4 minutes, the client still did not come out, and a second attempt to address the driver was ignored. After that, according to the victim, the man began communicating only in raised tones, using insults and obscene language. And then he attacked her with his fists. The conflict was recorded by a dashcam.
The woman filed a complaint with the support service of Yandex Taxi and a report with the police.
