Mud masses came down from the opposite side of the slope and began spreading into the territory of the residential complex, where residents« cars were parked, according to the Emergencies Sochi Telegram channel.

The fencing installed along the perimeter is barely holding back the pressure of soil and water. The landslide has overflowed and continues to move.

On the evening of February 2, a repeated landslide was recorded in the area of the Ministerial Lakes residential complex on a section where work had previously been conducted to eliminate the consequences of a similar incident. As a result of the soil slide, traffic has been blocked in the direction of the bypass road.

The Sochi administration confirmed that a repeated—already the third—ground movement has been recorded on the territory of a garden partnership near the Ministerial Lakes residential complex in the Khostinsky District.

District administration employees are at the scene and are conducting constant monitoring of the situation. Engineering communications—electricity and water supply—are not damaged. It is stated that no threat to residential buildings has been identified. The situation is under control. Cleanup work is planned for February 3 and will be carried out during daylight hours taking into account weather conditions. It is noted that landslide processes do not pose a threat to the building of Gymnasium No. 9.

In addition, a landslide has become active on Petrozavodskaya Street in the Adlersky District of Sochi. According to residents, the entire yard is flooded with mud masses, and the slope continues to creep.
