The flight from Krasnoyarsk to Phu Quoc (Vietnam), which had been unable to depart for over a day, faced further problems. On the morning of 4 February, a Boeing 767 carrying 335 passengers taxied for takeoff but returned to the parking stand due to a technical malfunction.
Two inspections were already conducted in January 2026 alone.

One passenger told NGS24.RU that black smoke was coming from under the plane during taxiing.
«Black smoke came out when taxiing for takeoff, in 30-degree frost (-22°F),» a reader reported to NGS24.RU.
A spokesperson for Azur Air denied this.
«There is no talk of any black smoke, ignition, fire, or flaring,» the airline stated. «Aircraft maintenance is complicated by the severe cold: at minus 30 degrees, it is difficult for personnel to work.»
Krasnoyarsk Airport confirmed the aircraft malfunction but did not specify its nature.
Earlier, the NGS24.RU editorial team reported that flight ZF 2671 was supposed to depart on 3 February at 04:00. Passengers have been waiting for over a day, and some were placed in a hotel. The situation is under the control of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) and the transport prosecutor«s office.
The airline stressed that the current delay is unrelated to January incidents, when a Boeing 757 made two emergency landings due to engine problems: these are different aircraft types with different engines.
At the same time, Azur Air regularly comes under the attention of supervisory authorities — the Prosecutor General«s Office»s register lists 167 inspections of the airline.
