Sirens sound in Voronezh, near nuclear plant and in regional district
Air defense forces are on alert after warning sirens were activated in the Voronezh region on Tuesday evening. The alarms went off in the city of Voronezh, the nearby nuclear power plant city of Novovoronezh, and the Ostrogozhsky district.

Sirens were activated in Voronezh late on Tuesday evening, January 27. The warning system also went off earlier in Novovoronezh and the Ostrogozhsky district. This was reported by Governor Alexander Gusev.
“Go inside, move away from windows. If you see a drone (UAV) — immediately leave its line of sight and call 112,” the head of the region reminded.
In the Voronezh region, a drone (UAV) attack danger regime has been in effect since 22:31. It was also announced on the morning of January 27 and was canceled only at 18:11. During the day, the sound of an explosion was also heard in Voronezh. As the authorities explained, it was the destruction of debris from one of the drones that was shot down earlier.
