In Novosibirsk, workers who clean the area on Lenin Street may be held responsible. On January 26, a woman slipped on this section. She sustained serious injuries.
«Cleaning of sidewalks on Lenin Street, including near building No. 10 on municipal territory, is carried out by the Municipal Institution »Road Maintenance Department No. 1« (DEU No. 1) regularly in accordance with established regulations and work plan,» the Novosibirsk mayor«s office responded to NGS inquiry.
The management of DEU No. 1 will consider holding the workers who clean this section responsible.
The mayor«s office clarified that the victim has the right to seek judicial protection of her violated rights.
Earlier, NGS reported how many Novosibirsk residents were injured due to ice in January.
