Shuttle minibus crashes on M-5 in Chelyabinsk Region, killing driver

A minibus with passengers crashed on the M-5 «Ural» highway near Sim, killing the driver and injuring three passengers, the Chelyabinsk Region traffic police reported on Sunday, January 25.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. According to the traffic police, the shuttle Volkswagen, traveling from Satka to Ufa, crashed into a Scania truck due to following too closely. The 43-year-old bus driver died at the scene, and all three passengers were taken to the hospital. Reversible traffic lanes were set up on the crash site section.
