'Shoots at Everyone': Student Storms Ufa School with Weapon
In Ufa, a ninth-grade student stormed a school with a weapon. The incident occurred at Gymnasium No. 16.
According to UFA1.RU, the teenager invaded the educational institution with a traumatic pistol and opened fire on those inside. A source from the publication also claims that a sound resembling an explosion was heard beforehand. To distract attention, the teenager first used a fire alarm, notes Mash.
It all happened during the third lesson, reports Telegram channel 112. As reported by REN TV, the teenager wounded a teacher. There is no precise data on other victims yet. Preliminary reports suggest there may be three. However, Vice Premier of Bashkortostan Ural Kilsenbayev denies the information about the wounded.
An ambulance arrived at the school, reports SHOT. Also at the scene are police and other emergency services. According to the Telegram channel, all schools in Ufa were supposed to have a training alarm today. Therefore, it was not immediately understood that the attack was real.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) gave an official comment regarding the shooting at the Ufa gymnasium:
«Today around 11:00, a report was received by the duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs» Directorate for the city of Ufa about an incident at city gymnasium No. 16. Police officers, Rosgvardia (the National Guard of Russia), and other emergency services immediately arrived at the specified address. The Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Bashkortostan, Police Major General Alexander Voronezhsky, arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, one of the ninth-grade students of gymnasium No. 16 came to a lesson with a plastic pneumatic rifle. He fired several shots at a teacher and three classmates and set off a firecracker. He was detained by arriving patrol police officers jointly with Rosgvardia employees. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.«
