A second plane made an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk in a week.

On the night of January 23, a Boeing 737-800 operated by Yakutia Airlines, flying flight SYL 466 from Novosibirsk to Yakutsk, landed. The reason was technical, as clarified by the airport. No other details are provided.

«The landing occurred in standard mode. The airport continues to operate normally,» according to an airport statement. «There were 158 passengers on board. None of the passengers were injured. Passengers have been accommodated in the airport terminal building. They have been provided with water and hot meals.»

The West Siberian Transport Prosecutor«s Office, in turn, added that »supervisory measures are being conducted to protect passengers« rights to receive the range of services due during flight delays.»

Update. Passengers told 14.RU that «the plane suddenly lost control during the flight and descended, masks immediately dropped and there was a smell of burning.» However, flight attendants, they continue, said not to touch the masks and distributed water. According to them, the plane circled over Krasnoyarsk for 1.5 hours, children were crying, and people panicked.

It is noted that Yakutia Airlines has already dispatched a reserve aircraft from Vnukovo Airport. The estimated departure time to Yakutsk is 13:40 local time. The same information is indicated on the airport«s website.

This is already the second plane in a week that has made an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk. Earlier, a plane operated by Uzbekistan Airways, which was flying to Vladivostok, did so. However, many passengers had to return to Tashkent.
