Schoolboy Laces Classmates' Drink with Chemical Near Kazan
The children were urgently taken to the Republican Children«s Clinical Hospital.
At the Algorithm Lyceum in the village of Kuyuki, a seventh-grader added a reagent to a drink and offered it to three classmates to consume. This was reported by 116.RU citing the press service of Pestretsinsky District.
The victims recorded a video from the hospital.
The schoolboy took the reagent from a toy chemistry set.
The lyceum«s management promptly responded to the incident. The children with poisoning were urgently hospitalized at the Republican Children»s Clinical Hospital during classes on January 21. Currently, their lives and health are not in danger.
The lyceum administration is in constant contact with their parents. All circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
«Competent authorities are looking into everything,» noted the press service of Pestretsinsky District.

UPDATE: The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that today the children were discharged from the hospital in satisfactory condition. There are no complaints about their well-being. They remain under outpatient observation.
