Scammers Offer Murmansk Residents Blackout Compensation

In the Murmansk region, fraudsters posing as management companies and housing and utility services are sending messages about compensation. This was warned by the Murmansk operational headquarters.
Residents of Murmansk and Severomorsk have begun receiving messages about the possibility of receiving monetary compensation allegedly for the state of emergency imposed in the region. After promising money (amounts vary), they ask to follow a link. After clicking the link, victims lose control over their bank accounts or access to their account on Gosuslugi (the Russian government services portal). This is how Ukrainian special services operate, they told northerners.
