Saleswoman Fined for Selling Vodka to Minor in Lipki Town

In the town of Lipki, Kireyevsky District, Tula Region, a saleswoman at a Magnit store was fined for selling a bottle of vodka and an energy drink to a minor, according to the unified press service of the judicial system of Tula Region.
The teenager purchased 100 milliliters of alcohol with an energy drink for 224 rubles (about $2). During the sale, the seller did not ask the buyer«s age. Subsequently, law enforcement agencies initiated an investigation.
For selling alcohol and an energy drink to a minor, the woman was held administratively liable and fined 35,000 rubles (about $389 at current rates).
In Tula Region, a man was sentenced to 7 months in a colony-settlement for stealing seven packs of coffee from a store. The coffee addict caused 4,000 rubles (about $44) in damage to the retail outlet. He was sent to prison due to his existing criminal record.
