An S7 flight from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Novosibirsk made an emergency landing in Bratsk after one of the passengers fell ill, the Bratsk airport reported.

The Boeing 737-800 landed safely at 12:46 local time, where an ambulance and an airport paramedic were waiting at the ramp.

«A 23-year-old girl complained of severe abdominal pain. After examining her, medics decided on immediate hospitalization. The passenger was taken off the flight and sent to the city hospital,» the airport said in a statement.

At the airport, the aircraft underwent maintenance, refueled, and then continued its flight to Novosibirsk with the remaining 176 passengers.
