The incident involving a Russian National Guard officer entering a women«s bathhouse occurred in Yekaterinburg on January 29. It took place at the Bodorost establishment on Pervomayskaya Street.
According to one of the visitors, at the time of the officers« arrival, the women were in the shower and were naked. «We were washing, everyone was naked! Some were in the dressing room. Personally, I was in the washing area. A man from the National Guard came in and said, »I am genderless,«» she said. According to her, those present began to dress quickly after noticing that the officer had a video camera on his chest that could record the naked women.
The Bodorost bathhouse is open until 11:00 p.m. That day, a female employee warned visitors about the closure at exactly eleven in the evening, demanding that they leave the premises. After a few minutes, she returned with a group of six people, but only one masked man entered the washing area, while the others remained in the corridor.
«There were six of them, but only one masked man entered — the others stayed in the corridor,» says the bathhouse visitor. «No one warned us about the law enforcement visit. We weren«t violating anything, not causing a disturbance. Everything was calm.»
The director of the Bodorost bathhouse declined to comment on the incident. «I can«t say anything about this situation yet, we are looking into it,» he said.
A request has been sent to the Russian National Guard for an official comment, which will be published after it is received.
