Rostov schoolboy assaults girl over dead father teasing

The incident occurred on January 22 at School No. 1 in the Olginskaya stanitsa of Rostov Oblast. According to the mother of the victim, Olga, the schoolboy struck the girl, hitting her against a door frame after waiting for her to exit the classroom. From the blow, she fell and lost consciousness.

Quarrels between the children began after classmates started touching on the topic of the girl«s father»s death in the zone of the special military operation. The entire episode was recorded on a phone by other students, who later themselves posted the video online.

The schoolgirl«s mother learned about what happened not from the school, but from a juvenile affairs investigator who summoned her for a conversation after the video was found online. »The video makes every sensible person«s blood run cold,» stated Olga.

According to the woman, the girl is now being bullied even by the parents of the offenders, who allegedly send messages in school chats and make calls.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Rostov Oblast confirmed the start of an inspection. Employees of the regional juvenile affairs division are working at the educational institution. All participants and witnesses of the incident are being identified and interviewed. Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.
