Rescuers to dismantle collapsed Novosibirsk mall floor by floor

Emergency workers from the Novosibirsk region branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM of Russia) continue dismantling the shopping center down to the floor of the second story to make sure there are no more people under the rubble. Regional EMERCOM minister Viktor Orlov announced this during a press briefing.
Three victims were extracted from the rubble. The last person found was a man—he was handed over to an ambulance team, but they were unable to save him.
«A group of more than 350 people and 70 pieces of equipment are involved. We have sufficient forces and resources. According to our data, there should be no more people under the rubble,» explained Viktor Orlov.
Information about the shopping center collapse was received at 16:20. The Novosibirsk region Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case regarding the incident. All known information has been compiled by NGS in a timeline.
