Rescuers return from latest search for missing Usoltsev family
Search efforts for the missing Usoltsev family continue intermittently in the Krasnoyarsk region.
Employees of the Krasnoyarsk search and rescue team have returned from the search site for the Usoltsev family in Partizansky District.
Authorities have mapped out specific terrain areas to search in Partizansky District.
They worked there for the past two days while the weather was good. The specific locations and nature of the search were not clarified by the KGKU «Spasatel» rescue service.
«The area of inspection was pointed out on site by law enforcement officers,» NGS24.RU was told at «Spasatel». The latest search operation yielded no results, its employees state.
Recently, at the regional Investigative Committee, NGS24.RU reported that the new outing for the search is planned.
«We must carry out planned activities as part of the investigation. Today, another specific area of the terrain is being examined. They marked on the map that they would inspect one area today, another tomorrow,» the Investigative Committee explained to us. «They also want to inspect caves.»
Also, Yana Syrymbetova, deputy head of the first department for investigating particularly important cases of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia, stated that the criminal investigation into the Usoltsev case will not be stopped if relatives initiate declaring the family missing in order to inherit.
«We will work until we are confident that an accident happened to them or that no crime was committed against them. When enough evidence is collected in the case, an appropriate procedural decision will be made,» Syrymbetova reported.
