Rescuers from two units evacuate tourist with leg injury from Agur Gorge
A 52-year-old tourist injured his leg while hiking in Agur Gorge and was rescued by MChS personnel, who transferred him to emergency medics.

Rescuers from two units of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia (YURPSO MChS Russia) were dispatched to assist a 52-year-old tourist who suffered a leg injury while hiking in Agur Gorge.
The man had set out to the waterfalls with his wife, when on a difficult section of the trail he suddenly injured himself and could no longer walk independently. His wife called the rescuers. MChS personnel found the tourists 200 meters from the confluence of the Agur and Agurchik rivers.
The victim«s ankle joint was immobilized with a splint, after which he was transported on a stretcher to an MChS off-road vehicle. The man was taken to the city limits and handed over to emergency medical doctors, according to the press service of YURPSO MChS Russia.
