In Yekaterinburg, staff and visitors were evacuated from the Raduga Park shopping center. An emergency was announced via the alert system, and this message could be heard even outside.
During the exit from the building, people were urged to remain calm. The specific reason for the alarm activation remains unknown.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Sverdlovsk Region responded that they had not received any reports about an incident at this shopping center.
In December, a similar incident occurred at the Akademichesky shopping center, where the alarm was later deemed to have been triggered by mistake. A month earlier, in November, the Peking shopping center was evacuated due to a fire.
Last summer, a street in the city was closed after an artillery shell was found in bushes. Specialists destroyed it at a special training ground.
