Prosecutors Rule Out Connection in Teen Disappearances

Based on information from January 23, the city prosecutor«s office has established that there is no connection between the disappearance of the two minors.
15-year-old Natalia, according to preliminary information, had a quarrel with her mother before disappearing. The girl is from a well-off family and is not on any preventive registers.
It is presumed that the teenager left the territory of the closed village of Serebryany Bor with an unknown woman, after which they left by taxi. The prosecutor«s office reported that the taxi driver»s identity has been established, but the route of the trip remains unknown for now.
One neighbor noted that unauthorized entry into the village is difficult due to security. However, journalists found an open door in the fence. After that, guards closed the passage and threatened a correspondent, warning about video recording and possible problems.
14-year-old Nikolai disappeared the evening before. His father, returning home, did not find his son and three million rubles (approx. $30,000 at current rates). Later, the man received a video message in which the boy asks to fulfill the kidnappers« conditions. In correspondence, the perpetrator demanded a ransom ten times the stolen amount.
The father of the missing teenager is named Andrei Kaplya. He is a well-known businessman, owning or managing three companies in Krasnoyarsk:
