Prosecutor's Office to Probe Why Hospital in Trans-Urals is Cold
Patients and workers are freezing in the hospital of the workers« settlement of Lebyazhye in the Kurgan region.
The prosecutor«s office of the Kurgan region will check reports of patients and workers freezing in a hospital in the workers» settlement of Lebyazhye. This was reported by the department«s press service.
Regional prosecutor Vladislav Moskovskikh ordered an inspection following media reports. Today, January 28, the news agency Ura.ru published a story that patients and staff at the Lebyazhye settlement hospital are freezing. This happened due to a technical failure at the local Boiler House No. 2, which heats the settlement.
«Currently, an inspection, boiler cleaning, identification and elimination of the cause of the failure are underway. Teams will work until the problem is completely eliminated,» the official Telegram channel of the Lebyazhyevsky municipal district reported at 09:43 a.m. The channel also stated that heating should be restored in the afternoon.
The prosecutor of the Lebyazhyevsky district has been instructed to provide a legal assessment of the actions of the bodies responsible for preparing the boiler house for the heating season.
