Police Search for Two Missing Girls in Novosibirsk

Two schoolgirls, aged 12 and 13, went missing in Novosibirsk's Kirovsky District on February 3; they were last seen in the Zatulinsky residential area around noon.

Today, 3 February, two girls went missing in the Kirovsky District of Novosibirsk. This was reported to NGS by Larisa, the mother of one of the schoolgirls.

According to the woman, her daughter went to school and met a classmate there. The girls were last seen at around 12:00 p.m. They were captured by an intercom camera.

«When Alisa«s mother came home, she found a note. Her daughter wrote that she had left home and also asked to tell me that they were together,» Larisa clarified.

The press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that search operations are currently underway.

Alisa Popova is 12 years old. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a light beige jacket, a black hat, and a white hood over it.

Kristina Babkina is 13 years old. The Siberian girl has blonde hair. She was wearing a short black jacket and a turquoise hat. Both girls had backpacks.
