Police bust Barnaul brothel that posed as massage parlor
In Barnaul, authorities have liquidated a den for prostitution that operated as a massage parlor, the MVD media reports.
Workers received bonuses for recruiting their acquaintances into prostitution
A 25-year-old man organized the brothel, located in a rented apartment. Police detained him.
Four of his female accomplices were also brought to the station. They worked as administrators, maintained order, recruited girls, accepted payment from clients, and distributed a portion of the income among the workers.
According to police, the accomplices recruited girls, including minors, to provide intimate services to clients, promising them good earnings. Furthermore, they financially rewarded the «masseuses» if they brought their friends and acquaintances to work at the intimate salon, and also fined them for offenses.
Investigators established that the accomplices had involved a 17-year-old teenage girl and a 29-year-old woman in prostitution. Administrative protocols were drawn up against them.
During searches of the den and the suspects« apartments, police found numerous erotic accessories, video surveillance systems, cell phones, rough documentation, as well as cash registers, payment terminals, tablets, and bank cards.
Investigators opened a criminal case under Articles 240 (Involvement in prostitution) and 241 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Organization of prostitution). All individuals involved in the case are currently under a written pledge not to leave and to behave properly.
