Plane crash in Orsk kills three, authorities confirm

A training aircraft crashed in Orsk, Orenburg region, killing all three people on board. The governor has expressed condolences to the families.

The government of Orenburg Region commented on the tragedy in Orsk, where, as reported by 56.RU, a Diamond training plane crashed.

According to updated information, the call to the 112 service came in at 12:51. There were indeed three people on board — two cadets and an instructor (according to our data, the pilot was 35 years old, and the cadets were 21 and 20). Emergency services are working at the scene: the press service of the Emergencies Ministry reports that the aircraft fell in the area of the village of Dzhanatalap, and upon the arrival of rescuers, there was no fire.

— Preliminary reports indicate that all crew members died. Work is currently underway to identify the deceased, — clarified the press service of the government.

Governor Yevgeny Solntsev also expressed deep condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.

— Regional authorities are ready to provide all necessary support to the affected families and will keep the situation under special control, — stated the government.
