Plane Crash in Orsk: Cadet Dies 5 Days Before 21st Birthday

Timofey Kurdypov was set to celebrate his 21st birthday on February 7.
In the plane crash near Orsk, 20-year-old Yekaterinburg resident Timofey Kurdypov died. He was just five days short of his 21st birthday.

Investigative agency employees are working at the site of the aircraft crash.
The tragic information was confirmed by the cadet«s father. He reported that his son was a student at the Saint Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation.
“I spoke with him four days ago, he didn«t say anything about going to Orsk,” the cadet»s father said. “I«m all on edge now, I can»t talk.”
A light aircraft crashed in the vicinity of Orsk, Orenburg region. The aircraft was on a training flight with three people on board — two cadets and an instructor, all of whom died.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that the plane fell in the settlement of Dzhanatalap, and the flight was for training purposes.
The cause of the crash has not been established yet. Specialists are working on identifying the victims.
Regarding the incident, Rosaviation has begun a pre-investigation check.
