The aircraft operating the flight from Phuket to Barnaul successfully completed its journey and landed safely at Barnaul«s G.S. Titov Airport, according to the Ministry of Transport of Altai Krai.
According to airport information, all passengers are feeling well, and no medical assistance was required. Previously, on January 23, a distress signal was received from the Azur Air airliner flying from Phuket to Barnaul over China — according to preliminary information from SHOT, the cause was the failure of one of the engines. The aircraft made an emergency landing in Lanzhou.
To continue the flight, Azur Air airline prepared a spare aircraft that will deliver the passengers home.
