An Azur Air flight from Phuket to Barnaul made an unscheduled landing at Lanzhou Airport in China. According to NGS22.RU in the airline«s press service, the landing was successful and proceeded normally.
There were 238 passengers and 7 crew members on board. None of them were injured. Currently, specialists are assessing the technical condition of the Boeing 757-2Q8 aircraft to determine the reasons for the unscheduled landing.
Azur Air services are operating in enhanced mode, taking all necessary measures to assist passengers and ensure their further flight to the destination.
Earlier, it was reported that the aircraft issued a distress signal and was preparing for an emergency landing. The aircraft was in a holding pattern and made several circles over Lanzhou Airport. The crew fully controlled the flight parameters and performed all necessary procedures to prepare for landing.
