Photos and videos from Nizhnekamsk school where students hid from teen

Students who were in Nizhnekamsk Lyceum No. 37 during the teenager«s attack showed what the barricaded classroom looked like. They shared the photos in comments on a local Telegram channel.

The kids together with teachers gathered desks and chairs and pushed them right up against the door so the armed teenager couldn«t reach the students.

Also, eyewitnesses published a video showing children sitting on the floor, with the sound of a fire alarm siren audible. Backpacks and notebooks were scattered around.

Recall that a 13-year-old teenager attacked a cleaner with a knife, and she received 8 stitches. The boy was detained by Rosgvardia (the Russian National Guard). A knife, mask, and tactical gloves were confiscated from him. A criminal case has been initiated for attempted murder and negligence.

A classmate described the teenager as strange and said that he was interested in the topic of terrorism. No one bullied the boy at school. It turned out that two days before the attack, a close female friend of the boy died.

Later, city authorities assessed the actions of the school administration during the incident: staff together with students took shelter in classrooms upon the alarm signal, barricaded the doors, and remained in safe places until the arrival of special services.
