On the afternoon of January 25, in Barnaul, a foreign-made car hit a 65-year-old woman, according to the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
The accident occurred near house No. 45 on Stroitely Avenue. A 23-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Polo ran over the pensioner, who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
The woman sustained injuries of varying severity. The victim was taken to City Hospital No. 1.
Currently, police officers are conducting an investigation into the incident.
