Overnight attacks on Voronezh region: missile alerts, sirens, downed drones

On the night of January 31 to February 1, the Voronezh region was again subjected to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Recall that attack threats were announced earlier on the 31st during the day, but were canceled closer to nine in the evening, with authorities reporting the destruction of a UAV. However, the calm operational situation did not last long — we have compiled a chronicle of what happened as of the time of publication.

21:59 January 31 — Governor Alexander Gusev once again announces a missile threat across the entire Voronezh region, sirens are active.

22:21 — the missile threat is called off, no consequences reported.

02:42 February 1 — the head of the region announces a threat of UAV attacks.

03:18 — sirens are activated in the Rossoshansky district due to the threat of a direct drone strike.

04:34 — the strike threat in the Rossoshansky district is canceled. Alexander Gusev reports that in the sky over one of the region«s districts, air defense forces destroyed a drone. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or damage. However, the threat of attacks across the entire Voronezh region persists.

04:42 — sirens and a strike threat again in the Rossoshansky district.

06:27 — the threat in the Rossoshansky district is called off, but the danger of attacks across the entire region persists and is still in effect as of the time of publication.

07:06 — the Ministry of Defense in its morning report announces that five Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight over the Voronezh region. Information on consequences from local authorities is not yet available as of the time of publication.

In total, over Russian regions on the night of February 1, 21 aircraft-type UAVs were shot down. Besides the Voronezh region — over Belgorod: 14 immediately. One drone each was eliminated over Kaluga and Astrakhan.

Update. There are preliminarily no casualties or damage from the destruction of the drones — this was reported by Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev. The drones were eliminated in the sky over two districts of the region. The attack threat was canceled at 07:45.
