Omsk resident shares video of fire-ravaged entrance after Kuzminki blaze

The residential building remains a frightening place for inhabitants following the devastating fire.
On January 25 around 7:00 a.m. in Kuzminki, at Vzlyotnaya Street, 13/1, a major fire occurred. An apartment on the seventh floor was burning. 96 people evacuated on their own. Firefighters rescued 29 people, including 8 children.
The entrance hall is shown in video as severely damaged, with walls blackened and ceiling peeling.
On her page on VKontakte, one of the residents of the building shared a video in her stories showing the consequences of the fire. The girl captioned the publication, «I now get flashbacks when I come to the apartment. This week we will restore everything.»
In the video, it can be seen that the apartment«s entrance door is severely damaged and melted. The walls are completely burnt: they are covered in soot, and the ceiling is peeling. The woman from Omsk adds that being in the entrance hall is very scary.
«Look what happened to the door. Everything melted. Very scary,» the girl says.
Recall that four people were injured in the fire. One of them suffered burns on 85% of her body and died. According to preliminary information, the cause was a short circuit on the balcony.
