Novosibirsk children walk single file on roads over snowy sidewalks
Footpaths have been trodden on the snowy sidewalk by residents and schoolchildren.
It is impossible to pass with a stroller on the sidewalk in Novosibirsk«s Quiet Center. This was complained about by NGS reader Elena. She sent photos of the path between Revolyutsii and Uritskogo streets near Gymnasium No. 10.
According to the mother of several children, she has had to take her child to school on the roadway for several weeks now. The stroller is hindered not only by snow but also by ice. The same situation is on the neighboring Shchetinkina Street, on the section from Uritskogo to Deputatskaya.
«Children walk to school »in single file,« one after another, because the sidewalks are so narrow and uncleaned that it»s simply impossible to walk side by side. Essentially, the path has been trodden by the residents and schoolchildren themselves,« explained Elena.
The Novosibirsk resident filed complaints through the «Reshaem Vmeste» (We Solve Together) app. She provided responses, the last of which was received on January 16. The Administration of the Central District explained that this section is the responsibility of MKU «DEU No. 1». They stated that the road was cleared of snow and ice, although Elena says that is not the case.
An NGS correspondent has sent a request to the Novosibirsk mayor«s office.
