'No One Touched Her': Eighth-Grader Attacks School
In Krasnoyarsk school No. 153, a 14-year-old girl set a fire. NGS24.RU learned about this when journalists arrived at the scene.
According to one student, the eighth-grader burst into the classroom during an algebra lesson with some kind of «cocktail» and threw it. The fire quickly spread across the room, but classmates did not immediately realize what it was.
«The whole class started burning, we just ran out of the room. She just burst into the lesson, I thought it was some kind of dream. Just a flash, and then the fire quickly spread throughout the class and started to surround us, we were standing in a dead end,» the boy says.
The student noted that while fleeing, he did not even have time to change his shoes. A NGS24.RU correspondent noticed that the eighth-grader was standing in mismatched sneakers.
In addition to the fire in the classroom, the teenagers clarified, the girl also set a fire in a restroom on the second floor — one of the stalls was burning.
«Our girls, my friends, go into the restroom, there in the last stall the toilet is burning, they start to run away. On the second floor screams and shouts are heard, and we see a girl running with a hammer in black fingerless gloves. She runs, and we start to run away,» the teenager says.
The girl herself — 14-year-old Lena (name has been changed. — Ed.) — was always quiet, at least as described by her classmates.
«No one touched her at all, she was normal in elementary school. But now she stopped communicating with everyone, sat alone, and that»s it,« says her classmate.
Lena, according to students, has already been detained but is still at the school. One of the teenagers saw her sitting «with a hammer in her hand.»
According to the Krasnoyarsk Krai Ministry of Health, three children were hospitalized in the burn center as a result of the incident. They have burns of varying severity, and diagnostic tests are being conducted.
Earlier, NGS24.RU reported that on the day before, 3 February, at a school in Kodinsk (Krasnoyarsk Krai), a 14-year-old student brought a kitchen knife to school. She tried to stab the chemistry teacher but was stopped by classmates.
Then the girl wounded a student from a parallel class — she was hospitalized, given medical aid, and released. According to the official version, the conflict arose due to the «emotional state of the student against the background of difficult relationships with other students.» Criminal cases have been opened for attempted murder and negligence.
