The Telegram channel «Ni Mash» published the full recording from an intercom camera that captured the murder. The investigation believes the crime was committed out of jealousy by the ex-husband.
The tragedy occurred on Wednesday, January 28, on Kompozitora Kasyanova Street in Nizhny Novgorod. The video shows the attacker waiting for the victim near the entrance and, when the victim approached, beginning to inflict multiple stab wounds.
At that moment, several people walked past, but they barely reacted to the attack. The seriously injured man remained lying on the snow. Only some time later, one of the passersby stopped, presumably to call an ambulance. However, it was not possible to save the victim — he died on the spot before medics arrived.
The murder suspect was detained. During interrogation, he admitted guilt, explaining his actions as driven by jealousy towards his ex-wife. For the duration of the investigation, the court sent the accused to a pre-trial detention center (SIZO).
